For 20 years, the not-for-profit Independent Diagnostic Clinics Association has represented non-physician and physician independent health facilities (IHFs) in Ontario.
Respected for its constructive opinions and solutions, the IDCA has been a trusted advisor to the Ministry of Health and Long-term Care and College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario through direct advocacy, as well as through several working groups and community-based committees designed to improve Ontario’s changing health care system. The IDCA has assisted the Ontario government in realizing its goals to enhance our healthcare system while promoting understanding of the impact of decisions and helping to shape initiatives that affect IHFs throughout our province.

The IDCA and OHFA have completed and forwarded the submission requested by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care regarding diagnostic technical services funding. Preliminary feedback from the Ministry is positive.
