As of January 1, 2014, Sonography Canada / Échographie Canada is officially the single national organization working on behalf of Canadian sonographers and supporting the profession of sonography in Canada. Current member registration cards remain in effect until April 30, 2014, for the Canadian Association of Registered Diagnostic Ultrasound Professionals (CARDUP) and the Canadian Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (CSDMS).
