The IDCA is participating in the consultation and collaboration to develop provincial quality management programs for mammography, colonoscopy and pathology.
Please find attached a letter and the Phase 1 Report from Michael Sherar, President and CEO of Cancer Care Ontario, and Dr. Rocco Gerace, Registrar, College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, co-sponsors of the Quality Management Partnership. Several Early Quality Initiatives were incorporated into the report with implementation pending Ministry approval.
Phase 2 will require consultations from October to December 2014 with recommendations expected by March 2015.
