The loan advance program extended by the Ontario government does not address the financial crisis among IHFs that the pandemic has caused and simply defers our problems for a few months. Among several new measures to help business, the federal government is increasing a payroll subsidy from 10% to 75% to small business to thwart layoffs due to COVID-19.  It will be retroactive to March 15th. The details of how to apply for this and other measures are expected by Monday (March 30).
