Sonohysterography and Echovist Usage
Some IHFs received a short email from the IHF Program branch recently relating to Sonohysterography and Echovist usage. The IDCA is asking IHFs operators to let us know if you have received the Ministry email and whether you wish to communicate with others who may also have received the request. CPSO has additional changes to IHF Standards
The Independent Health Facilities (IHF) Clinical Practice Parameters and Facility Standards for Diagnostic Imaging have been updated, and are now available on the CPSO website at the following link: https://www.cpso.on.ca/Policies-Publications/CPGs-Other-Guidelines/Independent-Health-Facilities/Diagnostic-Imaging. This July 2018 document replaces the 2012 parameters. HOWEVER…there have been further changes too.

Conference postponed from Sept. to April 5, 2019
Recently, the IDCA has been in discussions with Ministry of Health officials and has decided to postpone its September 21, 2018, conference until Friday April 5, 2019, at the same location, Hazelton Manor, Vaughan. Participation in SAWO Consultations
The IDCA is participating in the Ministry of Labour’s Safe At Work Ontario consultations to improve the provincial Occupational Health & Safety Act.
